Marintec Innovation 2024 was a landmark event, celebrating a significant milestone in the maritime industry's journey towards sustainability. The event held from 12 – 13 December at Shanghai, highlighted the urgent need for the industry to transition from high carbon to low carbon, and ultimately to zero carbon emissions.
Achieving these ambitious decarbonisation goals requires a global rethinking of the industry, fostering collaboration among governments, the financial sector, shipowners, and regulators.
